Rustic Rope Door Mat

I have made this rope knot mat from four stranded jute rope using a prolong mat knot. Sailors used to use old rope to make deck mats, but  I have made this from new jute line.

Length 23 inches (59 cm)

Width 11 inches (28 cm)

Jute is best kept clean by vacuuming, or just wiping with a clean damp cloth, but if needed, it can be hand washed carefully with a mild soap in cool water, rinsed well and left to air dry naturally.

This rope is best used indoors or in a dry place, as mildew could form if kept damp.
