Hand knotted and sewn, these coasters are created from the Carrick Bend and poly hemp rope.

There is a Celtic look about this knot, which is not surprising, as Carrick is the Celtic name for rock. Here in Falmouth, the river entrance is called the Carrick Roads and there is the famous Black Rock in the middle!

Care Instructions

Poly Hemp is the modern alternative to traditional natural rope on boats, as it is rot-proof and easier to care for.

The best way to keep these coasters clean is by vacuuming. They can be gently hand washed with usual clothes detergent, rinsed well and left flat to dry naturally.
